Five Ways to Give Your Party Some Bang!

Looking for something to give your fourth of July party a little extra bang? Look no further, for we have compiled the best of the best ideas right here for you.

Idea #1 Make some fun Party favor/toys for the kids.

The kids will have loads of fun with these patriotic sidewalk chalk stars by Alpha Mom! And they are so cheap and easy to make! Plus just imagine....all the kids....quietly sitting....need I say more?

Or if you like the noise I found these totally cute 4th of July Noise Makers at Family Chic.

Idea #2 Craft your own Decorations.

These Paper Lanterns by the Crafting Chicks are adorable and super patriotic!

And these Fireworks Flowers from Crafts By Amanda are gorgeous and easy enough for the kids to do the day before.

Idea #3 Play some Festive Games.

The Backyard Heroes have some great ideas, my favorite being, Flag Tag Relay.

Or maybe some after dinner trivia? iMOM has the best ever trivia idea...because it involves cake!  Which brings us to...

...Idea #4 which is to plan a Patriotic Menu.

Make a fourth of July Cake! This Independence Day Cake by Elissa from 17 and Baking is gorgeous! Move over blueberry square and strawberries stripes...

That's right...move on over to Brit where I found this neat fruit platter!

You can even get patriotic with the meat using SheKnows recipe for Red, White and Bleu Burgers.

And how cool is dip from Hungry Happenings? So simple too!

Complete the menu with a festive beverage. This Independence Punch recipe can be found on Big Bear's Wife.

And for our last great Party Idea for the Fourth of July....

    1. Of course! I love the way you took the time to explain how the punch layering works with differing amounts of sugar.
