In my posts of the past, I have talked a lot about getting into routines for both weight loss and organizing and keeping a home clean. I have never quite accomplished what I preach, and now I am in a position where I will have a few weeks between jobs that I can make up for lost time AND establish a routine that will allow my home to stay clean with minimal effort.
Since my first day will not begin until tomorrow, my schedule at this point is a good guess. Obviously, each person's home and responsibilities will vary so this is a schedule I made that I think will work for me.
Here is my planned schedule to keep myself on track (because I am too easily distracted!):

As I prepare to start this schedule tomorrow, I already know that the time allotted in this schedule is not adequate for my first good cleaning of each room so I will just work to get the first floor of my home done BEFORE starting any special projects. Once each room is completely clean, I will be able to stick to the time allotted. I hope that it ends up being more time than I actually need in order to keep up with it. Any extra time will go toward a special project or time for me to meet up with a friend or go shopping!
