Most people know that when they wash their face it is recommended that they pat it dry rather than rubbing it with a towel. Why? The towel fibers can irritate the sensitive skin of the face.
But I was thinking the other day, why should the rest of your body be any different!? When you dry your body off after a shower or bath, try patting yourself dry for softer less irritated skin.
Another tip for your bath towels: don't use fabric softener (liquid or dryer sheets). The chemicals that make your laundry soft will actually keep your towel from being able to be as absorbent when drying your body.
